Everything works. There's a place for your papers, your phone, and all the light work. In order to install the batteries, disassembly of most parts is required. You will need 6 AAA batteries. These devices are not rechargeable. The Tail Light does patterns that resemble the night rider or a police car. I don't know how long the batteries will last. The mounting equipment did not come assembled.
