It's built very sturdy, and feels tough. The magnet seems to be strong. Fully Extended, the flashlight stuck to a metal object at 45 degrees !!! Not only does it have the awesome light bar with RED flashing, and White solid modes, but it also zooms in and out. I compared this flashlight against others, and it outperformed every other Flashlight I used against it. The design is a little strange, as far as replacing batteries. You must unscrew two caps, on the bottom end, including the magnet. Once you do that, put the AAA batteries facing + up on the + side, and facing down on the - Side, and you should be good to go.
