In my personal experience however any AC to DC power adapters cause problems with graphics signal output. I finally used a 12v DC battery power source and a 12v dc to 9v dc power adapter in order to get what appears to be a perfect signal. Of course you don't want to over power or under power your SNES outside it's range of tolerance. Super Nintendo usually has a 1.5 Amp internal fuse. You want to use an external fuse that is under 1.5 Amps but above 1.2 Amps if possible. (below 1500 mA but above 1200 mA if possible). If at any time your equpment fails and is not properly protected against damage, you can damage your SNES or other equipment. Remember that the NTSC SNES is designed for 10v DC, but it seems to work with 9v DC. 9-10v DC should be fine.
